Privacy Policy

When you create an account, we collect information you provide: email address, full name, username, country, and favourite team. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google profile information (such as name, email, and profile picture) as permitted by your Google account settings.

When you use FAR during matches, we store your votes, FAR triggers, proposals, comments, leaderboard scores, and accuracy statistics. If you subscribe to Premium, our payment partner processes billing details; we store subscription status, plan, and payment references — not your full card number.

We automatically collect technical data such as browser type, device information, and session cookies needed to keep you signed in and to operate the service securely.

We use your information to operate FAR: authenticating you, displaying your profile and rankings, recording votes, enabling match-room participation, and — if applicable — managing your Premium membership.

We may use aggregated, anonymised usage data to improve features, fix bugs, and understand how fans engage with the platform. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may send service-related emails (such as account verification or subscription receipts). You can manage marketing preferences where offered.

FAR relies on trusted providers to operate. Authentication may be handled by Supabase; Google Sign-In is subject to Google's privacy policy when you choose that login method.

Premium payments are processed by Dodo Payments. Payment data is handled according to their terms and applicable payment regulations — we receive confirmation of your subscription status, not raw card details.

Match and league data may come from third-party sports data APIs. Those providers do not receive your personal account information from us beyond what is technically required to deliver the service.

FAR uses essential cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and protect against abuse. These are required for the platform to function.

If you install FAR as a progressive web app, local storage may be used to support offline behaviour and app-like features.

We retain account and activity data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms.

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to safeguard information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Signed-in users can update profile details in Settings and may request account deletion there.

You can stop using FAR at any time. Deleting your account removes or anonymises personal data we are not required to retain for legal or legitimate business purposes.

If you signed in with Google, you can also revoke FAR's access through your Google account security settings.

FAR is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
