Terms of Service

Last updated 22 June 2026

By creating an account or using FAR, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. FAR is provided as-is for fan discussion during matches.

These terms describe FAR as it operates today and set expectations for how the platform may evolve. Features, rewards, and commercial relationships can change over time; the sections below explain what applies now and what may apply in the future.

For fun and entertainment

FAR is a fan social platform built for football lovers who want to share opinions during live matches. Voting, controversy scores, and verdict cards are for entertainment and community debate — not official rulings.

What FAR is today may not be what it is tomorrow. We may add, remove, or change features, match coverage, voting rules, and how the platform works. Material changes will be reflected in updated terms or in-app notices where appropriate.

Not a betting or gambling service

FAR does not accept wagers, offer odds, or facilitate gambling of any kind. Points, ranks, and leaderboards are gamified fan engagement only.

At present they have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or prizes. That may change: we reserve the right to introduce competitions, rewards, or prizes for top-ranked users or other achievements in the future. Any such programme would be governed by separate published rules, eligibility requirements, and applicable law — not by leaderboard position alone.

Relationship with football bodies

FAR is currently an independent fan platform. We are not today associated with, endorsed by, or affiliated with FIFA, UEFA, any national football association, league, club, or broadcast partner. Team names, logos, and match data may appear for identification purposes only.

We may in the future explore partnerships or formal relationships with football associations or other organisations. Any future association would be disclosed clearly on the platform. A partnership would not make fan votes official, binding, or part of any real-world refereeing process.

No influence on real-world decisions

Whatever happens on FAR — fan votes, controversy scores, or community verdicts — does not influence, override, or affect any real-life soccer decision, match outcome, disciplinary action, or VAR review. Officials and governing bodies do not use FAR data.

This remains true regardless of any future platform changes, prizes, or partnerships with football associations.

Rankings and leaderboards

Leaderboards and accuracy scores reflect fan activity on FAR only. They are not official football records and carry no authority outside the platform.

Today, rankings are for fun and community status. If we later introduce prizes or sponsored rewards for top performers, separate terms will apply — including how winners are selected, verified, and paid or fulfilled. Continued use after prizes are announced may require you to accept those additional rules.

Your responsibility as a fan

You agree to use FAR respectfully. Do not harass other users, post unlawful content, or attempt to manipulate votes. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the platform. You must be old enough to use online services in your country.

If eligibility rules apply to future prizes or partnerships, you are responsible for meeting them and for providing accurate account information when required.

Changes to FAR and these terms

We may update these terms, platform features, prize programmes, or partnership arrangements from time to time. Continued use of FAR after changes are published means you accept the updated terms. Significant changes — such as the introduction of prizes or an association with a football body — will be communicated clearly before or when they take effect.
